Solano County Supervisor Wanda Williams is the dedicated, focused leader we need during these tumultuous times.
In her first term, Wanda has kept her promises to voters:
Promises Made. |
Promises Kept. |
| Protect Travis Air Force Base | She set aside an additional 7,896 acres of the proposed California Forever site for Air Force control, and granted the Air Force a new Low Altitude Maneuvering Zone, stopping development in the flight path area. |
| Support local farmers and help them grow | Wanda partnered with the Vintners and Growers Association to implement the Suisun Valley Strategic Plan and create agricultural tourism centers. |
| Protect taxpayer dollars | Wanda voted to require a full impartial impact study of the California Forever 2024 proposal, which concluded the project would cost Solano taxpayers over $6 billion. |
| Help small businesses succeed | She created and funded Solano Biz-Grow, a $4 million small business revolving loan program that has provided 55 loans to support impacted local businesses. |
| Address our housing and homelessness challenges | Wanda funded nearly 300 new affordable homes, secured funds for our county’s new homeless navigation center, and worked with the United Way to secure housing for struggling families. |
A former Suisun City Councilmember, Solano Land Trust Project Manager, and longtime community advocate, Supervisor Williams has always put people first. In 2026, she’s running for re-election to continue building her legacy of results and improvement for Solano County.
